Hindu Medieval, Indo Sassanian Series, Anonymous Issue from North-West India, (c. 7th-8th Century AD), Billon Dramma, 3.81 gms, 24.79 mm, Obverse: Decorated bust of King to right wearing a Sassanian type crown, Late Brahmi script letter ‘Shri’ enclosed in a circle on top of crown, dotted border around, Reverse: A stylized depiction of Sassanian fire altar flanked by two attendents, Sun and Moon motifs on top,dotted border around, very fine for the type, rare in this grade.
