Mughal, Farrukhsiyar (AH 1124-1131, 1713-1719 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.05 gms, 22.28 mm, Tatta Mint (fully visible at bottom on rev), AH 1125, RY Ahd, 'Thalith Sahib Qiran' Couplet, "Sikka zad az Fazl-i Haq bar Seem wa Zar Thalith Sahib Qiran Farrukhsiyar" "سکه زد از فضل حق بر سم و زر ,ثالث صاحب قران فرخ سیر " coinage of Farrukhsiyar from the Tatta mint exhibits remarkable variation. Of particular note is an early issue bearing a distinctive couplet not found on any other coins of this ruler. This issue uniquely features the title Thalith Sahib Qiran – "The Third Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction." This appellation places Farrukhsiyar in a distinguished lineage, following Timur Gurgan (Tamerlane) as the first Sahib Qiran, and Shah Jahan as the second. The coin thus not only reflects imperial ambition but also serves as a rare numismatic expression of dynastic symbolism and celestial legitimacy, similar to Zeno # 83753, KM # 376.1, extra fine, rare.
